6 Week Programme beginning 16th November
This course is designed for those with some experience of stained glass who wish to improve and refine their skills using the Tiffany (copper foil) technique. Participants will build on their skills from previous projects with a focus on improving achieving cleaner solder lines and enhanced cutting for accurate design finish. Participants will also have the opportunity to incorporate more advanced techniques including creating 3D projects, use of etching cream for texture, working with engraving tools and working with copper foil sheets. Finally, participants will use imagery taken from photos or other sources to develop basic pattern designing for stained glass panels.
Skill Level: Improvers - Tiffany/Copper Foil technique (previous experience of cutting, grinding and soldering required)
