I’m no one special, but this is the real me.
Would you like to leave your real-life story behind when you pass on? To trace your memories and legacy?
Your story can be very special for the people who are close to you in life. Whether this is your grandchildren, nieces/nephews, siblings. Your memories and legacy is precious and a hidden treasure for your family.
We all pass through life where we experience situations that can challenge and test us. These can be daunting and difficult to share. But we have also gained accomplishments and had special moments that has made us what we are today. And these are the things that we would like to transmit to others so they will remember us.
In this course you will find the space to explore your memories whether of your childhood, or where you lived, your most memorable teacher or mentor, your proudest moment, some big changes in your life from childhood to adulthood, to middle and old age.
By creating the Book of ‘Me’ you will have the opportunity to share these special moments and explain the real reasons why you are who you are. This course offers 10 different workshops which will be filled with information together with a hands-on approach.
Imagination is in the tip of the fingers, not just in our words. There will be the opportunity to develop your own unique creative path using sensory perception and the five senses to enrich the imagination and enter into a deeper understanding of the skills required to write and shape a personal memoir. Observational skills will focus on the use of creative materials which will act as stimuli to transform and strengthen the writing, into a story of your own lived experience.
All participants will be free to showcase their work or just remain private and silent. There will be no pressure on anyone to show their work to the class. And yet there will be the possibility of getting constructive feedback from a group that respects your work and life.
